| The Oral History Group recorded life memories
from within the U3A branch. Each is a personal story of the past that
provides insight into the way "ordinary" people respond to events that are
often beyond their control , they contribute to a more complete historical
picture. The result is the publication of seven individual
recollections often moving, dramatic and sometimes amusing.
